North-West Peace, Security and Development Framework 2026–2030
As chairman of the North-West Governors' Forum, Governor Radda led the region's governors in adopting a shared security and development blueprint.
At the 3rd meeting of the North-West Governors' Forum in Abuja in March 2026, chaired by Governor Radda, the forum formally adopted and launched the North-West Peace, Security and Development Framework (2026–2030) as a blueprint for coordinated regional action against insecurity, organised crime and socio-economic vulnerability. UNDP provides technical and financial support.
The forum also noted progress by Katsina and Zamfara in domesticating the National IDP Policy and State Action Plan.
Earlier, the administration hosted a North-West Security Summit with the United Nations Development Programme, which produced a roadmap for regional intelligence sharing, border patrols and joint task forces.
