Daily broadcast hours, up from 5–6
Governor Radda commissioned a solar energy facility at Aminu Abdullahi House, headquarters of the Katsina State Radio Service, in February 2026.
The station's general manager said it could previously transmit for only about five to six hours a day and can now broadcast for up to 18 hours continuously. The installation is part of a wider upgrade of the station.
