24 km Katsina Eastern Bypass

A bypass from Dutsin-Ma Road to Kano Road, through Daura Road to Yandaki in Kaita, that takes heavy traffic out of the city centre.

Length

The 24 km Katsina Eastern Bypass, built by CCECC, runs from Dutsin-Ma Road to Kano Road, passes Daura Road and ends at Yandaki village in Kaita LGA.

In May 2026 the Governor reported the bypass open and functional. Extensions from Airport Junction (3.4 km) and Barhim Estate (3.05 km) connect it to the city.
