On 21 July 2026 Governor Radda commissioned the reconstructed and dualised Funtua–Katsina Road, 3.9 km from the Central Mosque Roundabout to the Dutsen Rimi Roundabout, completed at a cost of ₦5.8 billion.
He also commissioned the rehabilitated 1.2 km Tsohuwar Kasuwa Road, from the Central Mosque Roundabout to the Zaria–Gusau Bypass, at ₦637 million. Both were built by Mothercat Limited and supervised by the Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport.
