Industrial Development Centre remodelled, and the first Katsina MSME Clinic

Improved access road
In June 2024 Governor Radda commissioned the remodelled Katsina Industrial Development Centre (IDC) Common Facility Centre and flagged off the first Katsina MSME Clinic and Fair. The centre is a public-private partnership between the state and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN).
The upgrade covers renovated workshops with modern tools and machinery, computer labs and a call centre for digital skills training, a 30 kVA hybrid inverter for uninterrupted power, upgraded sanitation and 1.7 km of improved road access.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, represented at the event, urged other states to copy Katsina's MSME model.
