Solar lamps, LED bulbs and rechargeable fans for schools and hospitals
Energy-saving lighting for public buildings and rechargeable fans for schools and hospitals in every LGA.
The Department of Power and Energy installed 80-watt solar lamps with motion sensors in public offices, and replaced bulbs in public buildings with energy-efficient LEDs.
It distributed rechargeable fans to schools and hospitals across all LGAs, and 80-watt solar street lights with rechargeable fans, ceiling fans, bulbs and lamp holders to government facilities in every zone.
Its project list also includes state-of-the-art P5 LED digital billboards under the media infrastructure project, and concrete works with landscaping from Liyafa Roundabout to the underpass bridge.
