The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and Geotechnical Survey for the 1 MW Danja Mini Hydropower Project were completed in 2026, following a review with representatives of the French Embassy. The project is co-financed by the French Treasury.

The power department lists the ground-breaking of the 1 MW hydropower plant at Danja Dam among its major projects.
