Katsina State Community Watch Corps Law, 2023
Signed on 6 September 2023, the law gives the Community Watch Corps its legal footing. By October 2025 the Corps covered 20 of the 34 LGAs.

In July 2023, weeks after taking office, Governor Radda sent four executive bills to the State House of Assembly: the Katsina Community Watch Corps bill, a Katsina Development Management Board bill, a bill establishing the Katsina State Geographic Information System (KATGIS), and an amendment to the state's revenue administration law.
The Community Watch Corps Law was signed on 6 September 2023, according to the Corps' commander, and the Corps was launched the following month. In October 2025 the governor commissioned 100 new officers as coverage extended to 20 of the state's 34 LGAs.
