Tube-well drilling rigs for farmers and 1,100 motorcycles for CDP officers

Six tube-well drilling machines and three air compressors were commissioned for dry-season farming, as 1,100 CDP field officers received motorcycles on a 50% subsidised hire-purchase scheme.

In January 2026 Governor Radda commissioned six modern tube-well drilling machines and three wheeled air compressors to expand groundwater access for irrigation and support dry-season farming in every LGA.

At the same event he flagged off the distribution of 1,100 motorcycles to Community Development, Support and Learning Officers, the frontline link between government and communities. The motorcycles are provided under a 50 per cent subsidised hire-purchase scheme repaid over five years.
