Heavy irrigation equipment

The Katsina State Irrigation Development Authority procured heavy irrigation and water management equipment worth ₦3.30 billion, including dredgers, drilling machines and compressors.

The equipment is used to desilt dams, drill irrigation boreholes and carry out emergency repairs to key embankments and spillways, so more land can be farmed in the dry season.
