In May 2026 the Governor said the state would 'very soon' commission its imaging centre, describing it as the most advanced diagnostic facility in Northern Nigeria.
The state-of-the-art Imaging and Diagnostic Centre at the Ahmadi Rimi Specialist Hospital is valued at ₦13.08 billion and was under construction in February 2026.
