iKatsina digital resident identity framework

Adopted in January 2026 as the state's foundational digital public infrastructure: one secure ID for residents to access services across ministries.

The State Executive Council adopted the iKatsina Framework in January 2026 as the state's foundational Digital Public Infrastructure.

The Director-General of KATDICT said the iKatsina Digital Resident Identification System will give citizens a unified, secure platform for accessing government services across ministries, departments and agencies.
