₦10m for every ward: Community Development Programme
₦3 billion released in January 2025 for community-chosen projects in all 361 wards. The federal government's Renewed Hope Ward Development Programme followed the same model.

Motorcycles
The Community Development Programme released ₦3 billion in January 2025, at ₦10 million per ward, so that each of the 361 wards could fund projects its own residents chose.
1,100 motorcycles were distributed to Community Development, Support and Learning Officers. Government paid half the cost, and beneficiaries repay the balance over five years. Community centres serve as economic, learning and social-support hubs.
The state notes that the federal Renewed Hope Ward Development Programme, launched by President Tinubu in late 2025, follows the Katsina model that began in November 2024.
