The state recruited 7,325 teachers, many through the S-Power scheme, and trained more than 18,000 serving teachers.

Teachers received over 20,000 Samsung Galaxy tablets and laptops. Salaries are paid on time, and professional development runs through the AGILE, BESDA and TESS partnerships.

The anniversary magazine reports 274,816 education personnel trained, including public, private and Qur'anic school teachers and BESDA facilitators, and 593 Mathematics teachers trained in digital teaching tools, with 100 master trainers trained virtually. For BESDA and TESS it gives 20,000 teachers trained and 18,000 tablets distributed.
