All praise be to Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.

2. It gives me a great pleasure to address you all to this great and historical occasion. I am gladdened to witness for the first time the convergence of Members of the Executive arm of Government at a forum of this nature to brainstorm on ways to chart a new course for the development of Katsina State.

3. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my candid belief that posterity will judge our actions towards the betterment of the living standards of the citizens of the State. Like I have at different occasions averred on the fact that our initial mandate is for four (4) years hence, we must strive to work round the clock to actualize our laudable plans and programmes as contained in our policy document tagged "the blue print of building your future for Katsina State".

4. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is heartwarming to posit that the government's success is predicated by a solid team of technocrats that compliment in the fruition of government's aspirations. No doubt. a forum of this nature is a veritable tool for interaction and be educated on the roles, and expectations of our offices. Moreover, it is an avenue where the nitty-gritty of our functions is explained to guide our conduct, function and relations with other partners and actors in governance. I therefore wish to seize this opportunity to implore on all of you to assimilate all the lessons to be learnt during the course of the orientation programme to guide your official conduct and stewardship.

5. At this juncture, I wish to call on all members of the Executive Council as Supervising Officers of their respective parastatals and Agencies to consider those agencies as their pet organizations and should therefore strive to establish a harmonious working relationship with them for the overall good of the State.

6. Finally, I wish to thank the organizers of this event, most importantly the lead Consultant, the Head of Civil Service of the State and above all the Secretary to the Government of the State, for a job well done. We pray that the almighty Allah will continue to guide and bless us with the wisdom and courage to leave a legacy of progress and development of Katsina.

7. Thank you and May Allah bless us all.
