As accountants and financial experts, you play a vital role in shaping the economic landscape of our nation. Your profession demands integrity, transparency, and accountability – values that are essential for good governance and sustainable development.

As a government, we recognize the importance of a strong and effective accounting profession in driving economic growth and development. We are committed to creating an enabling environment that supports the growth of businesses and promotes transparency and accountability in governance.

In Katsina State, we have been working tirelessly to promote economic development, improve infrastructure, and enhance the quality of life for our citizens. We have implemented various initiatives aimed at promoting transparency and accountability in governance, including the establishment of an Anti-Corruption Agency, Fiscal Responsibility Commission, the implementation of a Treasury Single Account (TSA) system and signing the Open Government Partnership (OGP) among others.

I am pleased to note that ANAN has been a valuable partner in our efforts to promote good governance and transparency in Katsina State. Your organization has provided training and capacity-building programs for our accountants and financial managers, which has helped to improve their skills and knowledge.

I urge you to continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in your work. As accountants, you have a critical role to play in promoting transparency and accountability in governance, and I encourage you to continue to work tirelessly to promote these values.
