Flag-off of the 9.9 km Garki–Kuntaru–Baushi rural road

Today marks the beginning of another achievement in our journey towards the attainments of progress and developments as well as the general well-being of the teaming populace at the grass root.

It is therefore incumbent to give ourselves accolades for the successes so far recorded in terms of the provision of qualitative rural infrastructure so spur the people to do more in the areas of agricultural development, trade and commerce, transportation as well as other areas of social activities.

It is on this note that this administration finds its expedient to cite this all-encompassing project that touches directly the lives of the beneficiaries in so many ways; economically, socially and relief bring among others.

The project is well conceived and carefully planned to serve it purpose for a very long period of time to come. Therefore all stakeholders should come together and strategize on how best to protect it against vandalization and misuse.

A lot of money is being invested in this project and that the positive result emanating thereof will come at the fore sooner or later. Just like their counter-part in the urban centers, people at the grass root are known for their loyalty and support to the government policies and progress as such I call on you to continue to lend support and cooperation the government policies and programs for the attainments of the best results.

Societal development can only be possible when all the stakeholders come in together to assist the government in whatever way possible for the consolidation of the relative success being achieved.

At this juncture, let me renew my passionate appeal to all and sundry that we need inputs, suggestions, constant prayers, support and cooperation for the collective success of the government.

In this regard, I hereby announce that contract for Garki-Bakanji road spanning of 4.78km will soon be awarded by RAAMP.

We will not compromise in ensuring the timely delivery of qualitative and efficient services for all to enjoy and to feel the presence of government at their door steps.

Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, let me use this medium to express the profound appreciation and pleasure of this government to the Nigerian government and the foreign donors for all that they have been doing to impact positively on the lives of our people.
