Radda commissions 5.1 km of dualised Funtua–Katsina and Tsohuwar Kasuwa roads

Two Urban Renewal corridors worth ₦6.44 billion open to traffic in Katsina metropolis.

Governor Radda unveils the commissioning plaque of the Funtua–Katsina Road

On 21 July 2026 Governor Radda commissioned the 3.9 km dualised Funtua–Katsina Road (₦5.8 billion) and the 1.2 km Tsohuwar Kasuwa Road (₦637 million), both built by Mothercat Limited.

The Commissioner for Works said the projects reflect the government's commitment to modern infrastructure, economic activity and road safety.
