Kamar yadda aka shirya gabatar da shi. Kalmomin da aka faɗa a ranar na iya ɗan bambanta.
It gives me deep pleasure and humility to welcome you all to this important event the Flag-off of the Distribution of 90,000 Bags of Grains to vulnerable households across our dear Katsina State.
This occasion is not just about food. It is about compassion, duty, and responsibility. It is about our shared determination to ensure that no family in Katsina goes to bed hungry, and no child suffers from malnutrition or neglect.
Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, we are all aware that the current economic hardship has placed many families under great pressure. Rising food prices and declining household incomes have pushed many people to the edge.
As a government, we cannot pretend not to see or feel the pain of our people. That is why we are reaching out directly to the most vulnerable households, through the Committee on Malnutrition.
However, my dear brothers and sisters, government efforts alone are not enough. Each of us as parents, as leaders, as members of our communities must take personal responsibility for the wellbeing of our children and families.
We must remember that caring for our children is not just a duty to society it is an obligation before Allah (SWT). He will ask us how we cared for those placed under our responsibility.
When a child goes hungry, when a mother cannot feed her baby, when parents neglect the upbringing of their children, it is not only an economic issue; it is a moral and spiritual one.
We must therefore rededicate ourselves to the values of care, discipline, hard work, and mutual support.
Let us rebuild the culture of community solidarity that our faith teaches where the neighbour looks after the neighbour, and where every child is seen as a trust from Allah.
Purpose of Today’s Flag-Off
The 90,000 bags of grains being distributed today are a direct response to this humanitarian need. They will go to vulnerable households across the 34 LGAs identified through the Katsina State Primary Healthcare Agency, Community Level Committees (CLCs) and The Committee on Malnutrition.
The goal is not only to provide temporary relief but also to support families while we strengthen long-term measures for nutrition, livelihood, and food security.
This exercise complements our broader programs on agriculture, social protection, education, and health which are designed to improve the quality of life of our citizens and secure the future of our children.
I wish to sincerely thank the Committee on Malnutrition for their dedication, efficient coordination, and ensuring transparency and community trust.
To our religious and traditional leaders, I deeply appreciate your continuous prayers, guidance, and moral support. You remain our partners in promoting social responsibility and accountability before Allah.
Conclusion
Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, this event today is a reflection of our commitment to the people, our faith in humanity, and our obedience to Allah’s command to care for the weak and the poor.
Let us all remember that governance is a trust, and poverty is not only a statistic but the story of real people, mothers, fathers, and children who deserve our attention and compassion.
As we flag off this exercise, I urge everyone involved to handle this distribution with honesty and sincerity.
Let every bag of grain reach a deserving home. Let every act of kindness remind us that we are accountable to our people and to Almighty Allah.
With these remarks, and with gratitude to Allah for His mercy, I hereby flag off the distribution of 90,000 bags of grains to vulnerable households across Katsina State.
May Allah bless our people, strengthen our unity, and reward all those who strive for the welfare of others.
Thank you, and may Allah bless Katsina State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
