Shekaru uku na manufa, ci gaba da haɗin kai: saƙon Gwamna
"Ba mu kai inda muke so ba tukuna, amma ba mu nan inda muka kasance ba." Saƙon Gwamna Radda ga al'ummar Katsina.
In his message for the Three Years in Office anniversary magazine, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda recalled taking office amid insecurity, inflation and deteriorating infrastructure, and said Building Your Future "was never a slogan. It was a covenant".
On security, he pointed to the new Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs and the Community Security Watch Corps, and said communities that once lived in fear are gradually reclaiming peace. In agriculture he cited fertiliser, mechanisation, irrigation and livestock support; in health, 146 upgraded primary health centres, new staff and sustained Free Medicare.
He highlighted classrooms, teacher development and girls' education through AGILE; thousands of MSMEs supported by KASEDA; road dualisations, subsidised transport and solar street lighting; tens of billions of naira cleared in pensions and gratuities; and the foundations of a digital state.
"We are not yet where we want to be, but we are no longer where we were," the Governor wrote, promising that the next phase would deepen growth, rural inclusion, youth empowerment and infrastructure delivery.
